(Lacinato Kale, Dinosaur Kale)   This is one of the more nutritious and robust of the kales, working equally well as a tender spring green and also as a sweet fleshed winter vegetable.  This is probably the most well-loved kale, with smooth, flat leaves easy to prepare and cook, particularly nice for braising or stir-fry. For the home gardener, easy and yummy.  For the market grower, no other kale sells as well.
