    Gail Holman

If I order the hawthorn potted plant now can I put it in the ground or should I wait until spring? I am in southwest Michigan.

Hi Gail, These are large and should overwinter well. We won’t have them in the spring, they are almost sold out.

  2. Question

    Robert

Question about the hawthorn, would I be able to keep it to about 5 1/2 feet and use it along a fence line? Creating like a more natural look. Would be using it to hide chain link. Plus I use hawthorn and hibiscus on a daily basis for heart health tea.

      Hello Robert,
Yes, but use the English Hawthorn, not the red hawthorn.

I was really impressed when I received these bushes. They hardly looked like they had been packaged. The root systems were beautiful and they had no discernible shock when transplanted. They even started new growth, at this time of the year!
