I live in Hawaii zone 12 with very heavy clay soil so hoping this will help out. Is it best to cold start these seeds then sow direct into field or better to plant in nursery and transplant? Thanks for all you wealth of knowledge looking for to volume 2 of growing plant medicine. Mahalo

      Hello Somer,
Thanks for contacting. Yes, fenugreek will help. I have seen this growing in the tropics and germinating in warm soils. The cold soil info is just for temperate zone growers who might not have warm soil. Another option is compost which is known as the cure for clay. Richo

When I opened the seed pack, good smell stimulated my stomach and fascinated me to cultivate of these fenugreeks. I moistened seeds and put them cold storage (5-10 C degree) for vegetables one night and left in the dark and cool (10 – 15 C degree) place two days. About 93 % germinated. Thanks for Strictly Medicinals giving good seeds. From now, its depend on my care whether these fenugreeks grow well or not. I’ll report the results.
