Woody perennial shrub native to Mexico and Central America. Flowers white to 10 feet tall and can reach a width of 10 feet. Traditional uses: Oneirogen (Dream inducing), digestive bitter, and febrifuge. Aerial parts are made into tea, smoked, or left under the pillow. Low-dose botanical. Considered an adjunct for dream therapy, lucid dreaming and shamanistic practices. Source of unique sesquiterpenes and flavones. Plant does fine with standard potting soils in a 1-gallon or larger pot. Give a warm position in the shade to part sun. Water regularly. When planted to the landscape, space plants 5 feet apart.

I ordered 2 plants and planted each in a 5 gal pot on July 1st in California. I placed them in the shade with a little morning sun. Then I recently put them in full sun and they like that more and grow faster in moderate Summer temperatures.
