Columbine, Wild (Aquilegia canadensis), packet of 20 seeds

$3.95

Family: Crowsfoot (Ranunculaceae)

Hardy to Zones 3 to 8

(Wild Columbine) Branching herbaceous perennial native to North America, one of the most beautiful wild flowers, growing equally well in a wooded setting or in the window box. Traditional usage: low dose botanical, an astringent gargle for treating sore mouth or throat. Prefers part to full shade and does well in moist, forested situations–even under conifers. Scatter seed in disturbed soil in the fall or early spring–they are pretty reliable germinators in this manner and once established will tend to self-seed and persist.
20 seeds/pkt., Open Pollinated, Untreated, NO GMO’s

The photo is accurate, these are the wild form, they have not been modified in color from the natural red/yellow.
