Hardy to Zone 6 to 9

(Monk’s Pepper) Woody perennial bush to small tree to 15 feet tall, native to the Mediterranean. The leaves and flowers exude exotic aromas. Traditional use (TWM): anaphrodisiac, breast health.  Plant prefers sun to part shade, dryish soils, and withstands drought.  Space trees at least 15 feet apart.

Potted tree, certified organically grown.

      Prune it back by 3/4 of its size when its dormant, and it is perfectly happy to flower every year and stay ~6-7’ tall and covered with bees.

      Hi Francis, Yes, they do well in pots, and tend to size themselves to the pot. I put a lot of tender care into the chaste trees and gardeners who bought them have been really pleased. Richo
