$7.00

ROOTS ship starting late September.  If you order ROOTS along with seeds, the seeds will ship first and the roots will follow in season. We dig after dormancy in order to assure a good bud set–usually beginning in late August and ending early December.

Family:  Rose (Rosaceae)

Hardy to Zone 4 to 9

(Indian Physic)  Herbaceous perennial, perfectly cold-hardy, native to the deciduous forests of southeast through southern US.  Traditional usage: Native Americans used as an emetic as per Ipecacuanha and for treating indigestion, colds asthma and hepatitis.  Horticulturally exciting due to its low, mounding shape, multiple starry flowers white with reddish highlights, reddish fall foliage and relative rarity.   Plant prefers part shade and forest soils, but will tolerate sunny borders and dryish soils.

      Hi Shiner,
We don’t bare root most of our plants–only aloes go out bare root. Shipping for plants is going to start at $9.00 and go up from there. If you put a plant in your cart, then you can put in your zipcode and review charges before finalization.
