(Caucasus Belladonna)  Native to the Northern Caucasus.  A pretty plant, with showy, dangling flowers giving way to dark berries.  Plant prefers part shade and rich, moist soil.  Traditional usage (TWM): external application as a muscle relaxant and pain reliever.  Do not ingest.  Plant prefers partial to full shade, average fertility, moist soil.  Sow in fall or early spring.  Slow to germ. Ongoing germ for 6 weeks.  Best in cool, moist shade or early spring greenhouse.  Sprinkle seed on surface, barely cover, tamp securely and keep evenly moist until germination.

      At this point given the seeds i have, i recommend to you the Atropa belladonna, the standard form. the Atropa caucasica is a more sun and drought-tolerant form, rare but not as pretty. r
