Companion plant to corn and other cultivated crops to improve pollination. Leaves rich in vitamin A and calcium. In the past they were used as potherbs. Traditional usage (Native American): Fever and chills. Sow seed directly in fall garden or in spring garden. Cold nights stimulate germination.
