This particular bean is well known to produce sweet, round in cross section, blue-green beanpods, 6 to 7 inches long on a self-supporting bush to 15 inches tall.  Excellent choice for fresh harvest, market garden and home garden.  Solid texture makes them an excellent choice for freezing and canning, as well.

      no, because summer is summer reqardless of zone. we offer the open pollinated varieties that work well north or south, east or west. what we do do is give days to maturity, and some of the longer maturing veggies may not mature in colder zones, and people can relate to that and make decisions accordingly. r
