(Soap Aloe, Zebra Aloe) Broad-leaved succulent widely distributed throughout South Africa. This plant has the distinction of not needing a well-drained soil–It will even grow in wet soils.  Small to medium-sized, the flat, succulent leaves are covered with h-shaped spots, rimmed by soft spines.  These grow quickly and become show-plants within a few years. Eventually, these pretty plants will make a short trunk, giving rise to branched stalked topped by outsized pom-poms of orange or red.  Locals use the sap as soap.

Potted Plant Certified Organically Grown, will be bare-rooted to ship

hi M! Virtually all the aloes are used in the localities where they occur, used for multiple conditions. Aloes are the #1 healing herb in all of Africa. Here in the states we use them much less imaginatively. Aloe maculata gel is antiinflammatory and emollient. you can check this link https://herbclass.com/monographs/aloe-maculata/
      for more info, more uses.

    Great Aloe Plant

I ordered the 3 pack of the Soap Aloe Maculata and am excited about having this plant in my garden survival toolkit. Not only is it a beautiful plant but it is useful in many ways. I’m especially excited about the prospect of it being a soap alternative. I’d like to mention the service I received from Strictly Medicinal. It was great. The plants came packaged very well and they took extra time and care to answer my questions after the sale and meet my needs. They earned my trust and I will be buying from them again.
