Hello Eimi, I’m sorry you didn’t get a Fu-zi, Maybe hit “waitlist” on Monkshood, as those will soon be enabled. Sometimes when the e-mails go out there is scant reaction on the part of growers and sometimes even large inventories sell out in a day. I’m not sure how to address this except to keep planting seeds and encourage others to do the same. it is good work. richo

Thanks for the reply, Richo! It’s really my fault that I waited to place my order… Should have hit Checkout right the way, now I know. Yes, I am on waitlist for Monkshood as well as Fu-zi, so hopefully I won’t miss out next time. I have tried growing from seeds several times but yet to have any success with aconites (sigh~).

p.s. Would it be possible to request a later ship date for plants? I’m going to be out of town all through September, could I request my order to be held until October for shipping? Thanks again for all your help!

hello eimi, rightio. well, that’s what the “order comments” field is for. Then you get to put exacting requests right along with your order and nobody has to try to marry an e-mail with an order. its just more efficient and effective that way. we often hang plant orders on the wall and try to get them out the week that is requested. richo

  3. Question

    Sarah

I want to order this plant, but I won’t be doing it until Thanksgiving Day. Will you be shipping then? I noticed on the shipping page you end in “late November,” and I’m hoping that won’t be too late. Thanks 🙂

Oh, darn I didn’t see your comment until a day late. That’s ok. So if the plant can’t be shipped at this time, I can still buy seeds, right?
      Thanks

      Erica,
I do think its worthwhile to hit “waitlist” on aconite plants, because we often reassess after the first wave of shipping and may have more to send out. Please feel free to check our website in January to get the best selection–that is when we enter our main inventory for spring sales.
